History:

Out in the mountains in central Honshū,Japan, bordering Nagano, Yamanashi and Shizuoka prefectures, there is a large monastery. It used to stretch across the length of this mountain range, however, that fate ended with the invasion.

There was no flame, no sound, not a single warning. Instead, as most of the monks had gone in for the night's rest, a large scale assault was delivered. The sleeping monks never stood a chance.

Blood, entrails, organs. The walls of the several facilities of the monastery became painted red with the lives of the monks within. Just outside the walls, the meager defense of the night-monks looked as if babies protecting a toy compared to this larger force.

For some reason, however... The devils that had attacked the monastery left a single building in tact. In fact, the devils hadn't even gone near that building, as if repelled. Inside this building were the four head monks... Along with three monks that had been called in for errors in their devotion.

The night passed, and the major buildings of the monasteries had fallen. Amongst the rubble, the half-eaten bodies of the remaining monks could be seen; though not all of them. Although they had lost all of their comrades, the monks could no allow themselves to be overtaken by grief. However, one of the three monks who'd been brought in to be evaluated... Allowed himself to be controlled by his rage. Taking his staff, this single monk found himself running towards the central building of the Akashi Mountain range.

Now, fifteen years later, he found himself lost near a town surrounded by white walls. The monk, now an old man, had long built his grudge against the devils that ate his friends. He'd become determined to kill those bastards that decimated his home. As he entered the town, his eyes seemed to become yellow, but only for a moment.
